Ms Carla Del Carpio

Carla has a medical (overseas)  and public health background (Master of Public Health, The University of Queensland) and has worked across government and academia in health research and innovation. Her experience is grounded in collaboration, strong stakeholder engagement, and the translation of research into meaningful practice.

She joined the First Nations Cancer & Wellbeing Research team as a Principal Research Project Officer, contributing to the MJY and CASE projects. Carla is passionate about research that delivers real-world impact, particularly in advancing health equity, improving access, and supporting community-led outcomes.
