
Karishma is currently working as a Research Assistant with the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research Program at the University of Queensland’s School of Public Health. She is assisting the team on the Miyil-Janay Yundu – Looking After Yourself Project.
Karishma graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Behavioural Science and is currently completing her honours under the supervision of Dr Shafkat Jahan and Dr Cassandra Vujovich-Dunn. Her project work and honours thesis will focus on synthesising the current global adaption strategies for the impacts of climate change on mental health, conducted through a global systematic review of literature.
