Stella Boyd-Ford is a Post Doctoral Research Fellow with the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research Program. She holds a background as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian with expertise in food security, paediatric nutrition and community health. Her current research focus centres on co-designing culturally safe healthcare services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, with an emphasis on improving health outcomes through community-driven initiatives.
 
Stella’s work bridges health promotion, community-based nutrition interventions, and research, where she brings extensive experience in outreach roles and collaborating with diverse communities. Her research includes co-designing digital resources aimed at empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, healthcare practitioners, and educators to better support children’s health.
