Researcher biography

Sandra Diminic is a Research Scientist in the Policy and Epidemiology Group at Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research. Her research focuses on the use of evidence to inform mental health policy and the delivery of mental health services. This includes the investigation of mental health treatment needs and service utilisation patterns, evaluation of new and existing service models, and using research to inform mental health service planning. Current major projects include further development of the National Mental Health Service Planning Framework, and research to understand the service needs of family and carers of people with mental illness.
