Hosted by: The UQ Mental Health and Climate Change Transdisciplinary Network

Join UQ researchers, and industry and government experts to discuss the strengths and weaknesses of our local, state and federal policies, and explore the way forward.

A new study has assessed the effectiveness of health, climate change, and disaster and emergency management policies from across Australia, with a particular focus on local government policies in Queensland. During this webinar, researchers will share their findings and highlight policies that are working well, knowledge gaps and areas requiring further development. Sector experts will also join a panel discussion to explore implications for policy and practice.

This event will provide valuable insights to help ensure our mental health and climate change policies meet the needs of our communities into the future.
