The purpose of this study will be to expand existing national diet data across five countries to include estimates of greenhouse gas emissions and then examine data from an ongoing international food policy study that assesses the public acceptability of a range of policy actions to help improve our food system. The results of this study will include new data products that will allow for future measurement of change in dietary intakes in terms of the environmental impact in Canada, and evidence of the level of acceptability of a range of policy actions by the Canadian public and how we fair in a global context.
