Ken is a non-Indigenous Research Project Officer in the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research Program at the University of Queensland's School of Public Health. Ken graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. He is currently assisting the team in the development of a number of systematic literature reviews on health and cancer. He completed a public health professional placement at the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health, where he conducted a process evaluation of their "Work it Out" chronic disease self-management program. He is passionate about qualitative, community-led research related to health equity, mental health, and wellbeing.
