Lela Arley–Corry is a Torres Strait Islander woman that has been with FNCWR (First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research) since July 2022 as a Research Assistant on the Supporting Our Carers Study. She previously worked as an RA at the Queensland Institute of Medical Research, which focused on Cirrhosis and Chronic Liver Disease.  

On the side, she freelances with her partner in his studio, focusing on communication design ranging from professional projects such as Cancer Patient Journey Videos and personal projects such as independent video game production and script writing. And will absolutely talk your ear off about reality TV if given the chance.
