Researcher biography

Dr Megan Steele is a Senior Clinical Research Consultant at Annalise.ai, which is developing comprehensive AI solutions for medical imaging. She is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow affiliated with the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research (QCMHR) and the School of Public Health.

Megan was previously a Lecturer in the Academy for Medical Education and was responsible for the development and coordination of the Foundations of Medical Research course, a project-based course for medical students (2018-2022).

Megan completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) at James Cook University in 2006 and a PhD in Medicine at Western Sydney University in 2011. She has over a decade of research experience, including laboratory, clinical and health services research across academic, industry, hospital and government settings.
