Dr. Andrea La Nauze is a Lecturer in the School of Economics in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law. She is an economist who incorporates insights from behavioural economics into the study of environmental problems. She uses economic models, field experiments and observational data to understand the impacts of household behaviour on environmental policy outcomes, and the effects of environmental conditions on behaviour. Her research is published in top economics journals such as the Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management and Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists.

Dr La Nauze completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2017 and from 2016-2020 was Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States.
