Dr Idin Panahi is  a Senior Research Administration Officer working with the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research (FNCWR) team. He is currently working on a systematic review of the use of the EQ-5D tool to measure of health-related quality of life among Indigenous populations globally. He is working on this review with Tsegaw Amare Baykeda, Dr Ming Li, Dr Shafkat Jahan, Professor Kirsten Howard, and Professor Gail Garvey.
 
Idin completed his PhD in Public Health with the University of Queensland (UQ) prior to commencing work with the FNCWR team, focusing on the treatment of Hepatitis C among people who had recently been released from prisons. He is also working with UQ's General Practice Clinical Unit on a project related to opioid dependence treatment.
