The First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research (FNCWR) team at the Queensland Murri Carnival - September 2024
The entire FNCWR team were in attendance across the 4 day Carnival to engage with community members, the team were seeking responses on 2 surveys: Antibiotics Use Among First Nations Australians and the What Matters to Youth national survey. Our prizes for participation proved to be very popular.
Our team worked tirelessly to engage with hundreds of members of our community, and completed in excess of 300 surveys, gathering important information, which will be used to enhance the health and wellbeing of our First Nations Australians, as well as improving cancer outcomes for Indigenous peoples globally.
