Ms Sophia Power

Sophia is a proud Juru woman from Bowen, North Queensland. She works within the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research Program as a Community Engagement Officer.

Sophia brings experience from the construction industry, having worked as a Project Administrator at Symal Infrastructure. She has research administration experience from roles in the Chancellery Research and Enterprise Team at the University of Melbourne and the Australian Cobotics Centre and Joint Biomechanics Centre at Queensland University of Technology.
