CI Howard is Co-Director of the Menzies Centre for Health Policy and Economics and Professor of Health Economics in the School of Public Health at the University of Sydney. Prof Howard’s research focuses on methodological and applied health economics research including assessment of patient and consumer preferences using choice-based methods (discrete choice experiments and best-worst scaling), economic evaluation and quality of life/wellbeing assessment. She co-leads, with Prof Gail Garvey and Dr Kate Anderson, the What Matters wellbeing program of work, including the NHMRC-funded What Matters 2 Adults and What Matters 2 Kids studies, and the MRFF-funded What Matters 2 Youth study to develop new nationally-relevant wellbeing measures for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults, youth and children
