
Mackenzie Rhodes (Mack) is a proud Bundjalung woman from the Northern Rivers of NSW.
Mack works within the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research Program, as Senior Aboriginal Research Assistant within the School of Public Health. Mack graduated from the University of Queensland in 2024 with a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours). She has experience working and collaborating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people, the out of home care sector and the mental health sector.
Mack has provided a wide range of research and administrative support, to a number of qualitative projects within the team, including the Bowel Cancer Screening project, First Nations Clinical Nurse Consultants, Haematological Cancers in First Nations Australians, Health & Wellbeing of Indigenous Youth in Out-of-Home Care, and Pathways to Healthy Hearts After Cancer for All.
