UQ SPH researchers have played a leading role in the editing and writing of a new textbook published this year. It contributes to closing the gap on the influence of the political environment as a determinant of population health outcomes. The textbook aims to expose the explicit and implicit relationships between politics, political decisions, and public policy within a planetary health perspective. Join us to hear from the editors and authors about the content and contribution of this new book, suggestions for how you might use it in your UQ courses, and the ‘behind the scenes’ process of editing and writing an academic text.
