Overview

In this presentation, Alicia Dodemont will discuss copyright as it relates particularly to teaching and learning. Copyright is a fundamental consideration when developing teaching materials that provide best practice learning environments.

You will come away with a refreshed understanding of how statutory, commercial and Creative Commons licenced materials can be used and dealt with in the University teaching and learning context. Please bring any questions you may have relating to copyright as there will be time allocated for individual consultation at the end of the presentation.

Topics will include

  • Copyright as a bundle of rights
  • Using Part VB materials (understanding our statutory licence)
  • Creative Commons materials
  • Commercially licenced materials.
