This short course will cover the basics of media training, discussing the needs of print, online, television and radio media and how to build a beneficial relationship with journalists. It will also touch on how to use social media to engage your audience.

Bio

Katie Rowney is a senior communications officer with UQ’s central communications and marketing office. She’s previously worked in print journalism and government media.
