Dr Fereshteh Kalantari is a Senior Research Officer at The University of Queensland with the First Nations Cancer and Wellbeing Research Team. Her multidisciplinary research applies statistical modelling to environmental and biological data, with a current focus on how climatic factors and extreme weather events affect people living with mental illness in Queensland, Australia.
Fereshteh completed her thesis on: Quantitative approaches for health risk assessment of environmental pollutants, estimation of differences in sensitivity, relative potencies, and margins of exposure.
