Our postgraduate programs and courses provide the knowledge and skills needed to define, monitor, critically assess and manage public health problems in a changing world. Our graduates are equipped to inform health policy, lead health services reform and stay abreast of newer health concerns such as diabetes, obesity, HIV/AIDs, and injury prevention, as well as more traditional concerns such as under-nutrition and communicable diseases.

Almost all our courses are available externally and will suit students with work and family commitments. See further information for more details or view our sample study plans.

Public Health

Our flagship Master of Public Health (MPH) program is the first in Asia Pacific to achieve Curriculum Validation from the Agency for Public Health Education Accreditation (APHEA), one of the leading accrediting bodies for MPH programs in the world. This validation confirms that the curriculum adheres to European standards for a modern comprehensive degree and contains the basic structure and core content expected from a Master of Public Health program.

We offer a Standard Master of Public Health plan, which is our most flexible, and specialised plans in Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs, Global Health, Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, Indigenous Health, and Nutrition.
