The World Health Organization has designated our School as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Health Information Systems (WHO reference number AUS-114). 

Activity workplan

  • Development of short courses for HIS, eHealth, CRVS, and CoD
  • Providing technical advice to member countries and states on knowledge and implementation of health information systems to support universal health coverage, Maternal, Neonatal & Child Health (MNCH) targets, and other core health strategies
  • Reviewing and conducting research on health information systems to improve performance and enhance monitoring and evaluation of key targets including universal health coverage and MNCH service coverage
  • Developing products requested by member states and countries that WHO can use to support them
  • Providing support to Peer-to-Peer (P2P) networks for HIS 
  • Providing technical support for policy and programme development
