Centre for Australian Military and Veterans' Health
The Centre for Australian Military and Veterans’ Health (CAMVH) closed on December 24, 2014.
The mission of CAMVH was to optimise the health of Australian Defence Force personnel, veterans and their families through research and education.
The CAMVH (The University of Queensland), and the previous Centre for Military and Veterans' Health (The University of Queensland/The University of Adelaide/Charles Darwin University) conducted research on deployment health surveillance, occupational health and safety and mental health and examined e-health capabilities for military and veteran health issues.
The Centre also conducted Think Tanks and other engagement activities that provided opportunities for evidence-based input into military and veteran health issues. Additionally, the Centre facilitated professional development opportunities for military and veteran-focused health professionals.
