Project (PUBH7900)

Students engage in a guided research activity in a selected area of population health.

The project is designed to be flexible, with the specific setting, activities and outcomes which include a comprehensive written report, negotiated between the student and advisor(s).

Both internal & external students can enrol in this course in Semester 1, 2 or Summer Semester.

Before enrolling students must obtain permission from the program coordinator and have achieved a minimum GPA of 5.5 across at least 8 units of coursework, including at least 4 units from Part A.

This course is intended to provide students the opportunity to consolidate, extend and apply knowledge and skills acquired in their population health training to date.

After successfully completing this course you should be able to:

  1. Engage in a guided research activity in a selected area of population health
  2. Write a coherent final report which conforms to standard academic report writing style and format.
