Researcher biography

Dr. Holly Harris is an Accredited Practising Dietitian. She completed her PhD in 2018, which examined the development of child eating behaviours, food preferences and feeding within the family. Holly has a particular interest in the nutrition and feeding interactions of families experiencing socioeconomic disadvantage and food insecurity. She has worked clinically as a dietitian in rural and urban locations in community and private practice settings, which has informed both her teaching and research.

Holly Harris joined the School of Public Health in early 2018 to co-coordinate and teach into the 'Health, Society and Research' courses within the Medicine Program. She is also a Research Fellow of the Life Course Centre (Institute of Social Science Research).
