Global Infectious diseases surveillance team at SPH and partners are developing novel, non-invasive, high throughput, rapid, cost effective diagnostic tools for infectious diseases including but not limited to those transmitted by insect vectors (Malaria, Dengue, Zika, Ross river, Chagas, trypanosomiasis etc.), soil (hookworms, whipworms), snails (schistosomiasis) and sexually transmitted infections. We aim to develop point of care tools that can be applied routinely at programmatic levels to reduce disease transmission, outbreaks and aide in the elimination efforts.
